Cherish the dress: Rufford Old hall with Rachel & stuart

Rachel and Stuart got married at Eaves Hall back in January and upon booking with myself they knew straight away that they wanted a post-wedding shoot in which they could cherish the dress and capture even more beautiful moments of them together.

Rachel & Stuart in the gardens at Rufford Old Hall, Lancashire.

And, what better place to choose than the stunning Rufford Old Hall in Lancashire, a National Trust property that is home to the Tutor Great Hall. A building that is brimming with period features, tapestries and armour. Rufford Old Hall was also the perfect choice for Rachel and Stuart for another reason. This beautiful place is also where they got engaged, so it's extra special to the both of them.

On the morning of the shoot I meet with Rachel & Stuart, where we headed inside to the Great Hall before they opened to the public. The Hall is beautiful and grand, and made the perfect backdrop for our indoor portraits. We then ventured outside for a stroll around Ruffords' Victorian and Edwardian gardens. The settings to this location are truly picturesque and we were well and truly spoil for choice, even the weather was on our side, with blue skies and the sun shining, it couldn't have gotten much better!

So here are just a few of my favourites from Rachel and Stuart's Cherish the Dress shoot at Rufford Old Hall in Lancashire. A quirky, fun and alternative session that is full of love and personality.
